What’s up?

No, we have internet just too busy to type except from 2am to 5am.  When my jet lag has caused me to be mixed up with day and nights.

Arrival in Ireland, found the shuttle to the city and it looks like a 12 minute walk.  Of course this is Tali’s first treat at Ellen’s navigation.   Of course is it my problem that I put in the wrong address and located Meath place not square?  I got the street right!!   The next part of the walk caused us to double back since I read the phone wrong. Truly this isn’t all my fault.  Of course with every one tired and jet lagged not to mention dragging suitcases over uneven ground what can I say.  Our 12 minute walk was about 30 to 40 minutes.  But everyone needed the steps since we had been in airports or planes for the prior 20 hours with travel time.

The plan is a quick nap.  Tali thought we should be up and ready to go by 11am. I am shooting for 2.  I woke Tali up at 3:30 then again at 4.  She didn’t remember the 3:30 wake up. Well we head out to explore.

Again with my phone in hand. We are off to st Stephens green.  A big inner city park and although it’s 5 o’clock people are out all over.  Tali is impressed with the park and that people are just hanging out.   A great children’s play area ponds and ducks.  It is much smaller than other city parks but nice to stretch our legs.  The weather is great. Sun and warm.  We continue to explore and locate a gelato shop. It makes a great lunch. Street musicians and a no cars shopping area.

All the museums have closed for the day so we just continue to explore on foot.  We locate Trinity College Dublin since we have an early reservation tomorrow morning and don’t want to be late.

Continue the stroll walk into a pub in the Temple Bar area of town known for music and nightlife.  We were hoping for music but the bar is packed, no place to sit so we explore.  End up on the 3rd floor which is just a quiet little restaurant same food as below but no music.  While eating the musical tour commenced there must be at least 50-75 people.  Oh well it is the first night. So no music but dinner in the pub.

Tali has a new phone and apparently unlimited data even internationally.  It is with google as the telephone carrier.  She seems to have good reception.  I have her get us back to the cottage. There without a glitch.  Off to bed.  Tomorrow is the Book of Kells, on and off all day bus and the prison. Not to mention a pub for music after all we are in Ireland.
